In my most recent body of work, I sought to discover how to communicate childlike passion and curiosity through formal concepts such as gestural line and saturated color. I wanted to see just how much the imagination of landscape, lighting and mark impacted not just the meaning of a piece, but also how these kinds of emotion could be communicated outside of a human subject.
